There has already been quite a number of new additions to Singapore’s dining scene, but we’ll gladly take more. Here to jazz things up in town is F&B group 1-Group (it owns hotspots such as Monti and The Garage) with the all-new opening of 1-Atico at Ion Sky.
Fire at Ion Sky
Perched on the highest floor of Ion shopping centre, the new lifestyle destination spans two levels as the multi-concept space is home to three distinct experiences, including Fire, FLNT and Atico Lounge.
With the former two already open and accepting reservations, Atico Lounge will open shortly after further refurbishment and approval from local authorities.
At these new restaurants, be prepared to feast your eyes and stomach as you fill up on the variety of eats and the breathtaking views.
Fire’s Mud Crab ‘Rescoldo’
Fire is a contemporary Argentinian restaurant that celebrates the Latin country’s most sacred social ritual, the asado (a traditional barbeque that brings friends and family together). Here, tuck into dishes that feature Argentine wood-fired cooking techniques, such as the ‘Devesa’ Argentinian Grain-Fed OP Rib, Patagonian Red Prawns ‘Parrilla’ and Mud Crab ‘Rescoldo’.
FLNT
Meanwhile, FLNT offers Japanese-Peruvian cuisine. In the open gallery, enjoy a plethora of sharing plates prepared with precision over a binchotan-fueled grill; the Foie Gras Taco is a good try, along with the Inka Sushi which presents a mini chirashi don.
Ceviche Nikkei
In true 1-Group fashion, the dishes are of course, as Instagrammable as they get. And when the highly-anticipated Atico Lounge opens, you’ll definitely want to head there as the bar will offer an immersive, New York City-inspired experience.
Reservations to Fire and FLNT can be made here. More information available here.
