These Singapore restaurants have rolled out some killer happy hours

You don’t have to hit a bar to drink without emptying out your wallet—these restaurants have cool happy hours too. Here are the ones to check out.

On Saturdays, there’s the Weekend Brunch Boozster from 11am-1pm. Order their breakfast plates and you’ll get a free flow of Argentine wines, mojitos and chimichurri Bloody Mary cocktails for $25 ++.

Dehesa

Only till Mar 11 from 5-7pm, this nose-to-tail joint is offering a choice of free pulled pork sandwiches, fried squid and aioli sandwiches, scratchings and tripe with every purchase of Estrella beer ($12). For more updates, check out their event page

Kinki

Japanese restaurant and bar Kinki is launching #KinkiAfterHours on Mar 14, where creatives or those in the marketing and advertising fields get 30 percent off all house pours, house wines, house beers and house spirits on Tuesday evenings. All you have to do is to present your name card to any of their staff.

Meatliquor SIN

You can never go wrong with an ice-cold beer and a sloppy burger here. Happy hours are from 5-7pm daily, with bottled malts like Budvar, Estrella and Dos Equis going at $10 each. If it’s cocktails you want, there’s a selection of five different sherbets like tequila and rosemary, campari and gin, and rum and ginger available at $10 each too.

Medzs

Another place serving up a great beer and burgers deal is this intimate restaurant and bar at Clifford Centre. On Monday nights, there’s a one-for-one promotion on their signature beef and bacon burger, with every order of an alcoholic beverage at regular price (excluding jager and jager bombs). Their all-day, daily happy hours are also a winner—deals include a bucket of five Stellas at $34.90, house pour spirits at two for $14.90 and Jager mini bombs at $25.90 for a bucket of five.

Overeasy Orchard

There may be a dearth of decent bars on this shopping belt, but you can still get your alcohol fix on the cheap at Overeasy’s Happy Hour Smackdown. From Mon-Fri at 5-8pm, they are offering a one-for-one on premium alcohol pours and draft beers like Hendrick’s gins, Nikka and Monkey 47, with prices ranging from $15 for a glass of Nikka to $22 for Monkey 47.

Oxwell & Co

Happy hours are from 4-8pm daily at this all-British restaurant and bar. Cocktails (gin and tonic, pina colada, Pimm’s Cup) and beers on tap (Coopers Pale Ale, Sapporo Lager, Albens Cider) are at $10—order up a glass and retreat to their new rooftop space.

Spruce

Both of their Phoenix Park and Former Bukit Timah Fire Station outlets are offering any two housepours on gin, whisky, rum, vodka and tequila at $10 each from 12-6pm (weekdays) and 9am-6pm (weekends). Perfect if you need to drink your feelings during a stressy work day.

The Black Swan

Who can resist having cocktails and oysters before dinner? From 5-8pm on weekdays, oysters are going at $2 a piece with every glass of Stella Artois or house wines at $11. Or you can lounge around The Powder Room for cocktails at $12++ a glass from 5-9pm during weekdays.

Uma Uma, Izakaya Bar & Restaurant

Besides all-day happy hour deals on cocktails and housepour spirits, wines and beers from Mon-Sat, you can also opt for their dinner set promotions, which includes a yakitori set with a choice of ramen, four types of yakitori and one beer from $25 or a selection of four yakitori and a beer from $14. It’s an all-in-one deal for those who can’t be bothered to hit the bar after a meal.
