Sear Steakhouse

This fancy spot overlooking the CBD is offering a pun-riddled, five-course dinner from $85 per person. Titled Sear It With Love, the menu features items like You’re My Muse, a salsa, pina colada and maraschino cherry amuse bouche; Porked by Cupid’s Arrow, grilled Mangalican pork loin and Beefdazzled by You, 45 days dry-aged Australian prime bone-in rib. If anything else, the cheesy, V-Day themed names should make for a great conversation starter. Feb 13-14

The former features a 600 g grilled Austalian double sirloin steak for two with creamed spinach and rosemary potatoes, and Partners in Crime has mains like braised boneless U.S beef short ribs and brown butter lobster tail. Impress your sweetpea with a gastronomic meal by chef Jason Tan. Just for this weekend, he’s whipping up four (from $98 per person) and six-course menus (from $248 per person) with items like Hokkaido sea urchin, Patagonian toothfish and Australian Wagyu beef. For added privacy, you can book a table at the Whispering Corner from $988, which comes with a bottle of Champange and a six-course menu for two. Feb 13-14

This lavish six-course set dinner has progressive plates of sashimi, Wagyu beef, sea urchin tempura and more from $188 per person. You’ll be dining on fancy dishes like raw oyster in Irizake, braised daikon radish with dashi and minced Wagyu sweet miso, and the A3 saga sirloin steak with sauteed brussel sporuts, grilled with the restaurant’s signature Sumbiyaki charcoal cooking method.


Parkroyal on Pickering’s in-house restaurant is dishing out premium items like French oyster with Champagne jelly and Beluga caviar, vanilla-poached lobster and foie gras torchon for Valentine’s Day, all served with a complimentary glass of rose Champagne.
