Whiskey and beef, ramen burgers and spicy cocktails—we love exciting collaborations, especially when food and alcohol are the primary collaborators.
Chef Kenjiro “Hatch” Hashida of Hashida Sushi and mixologists from boutique bar Néktar have teamed up with Singapore’s very own food truck The Travelling C.O.W. to bring you Burger-Meets-Cocktail Weekends every Friday and Saturday from Apr 18 till May 3 (prices start from $14). Expect whacky creations like the “kare” ramen burger and mixes such as the Harakiri—a spicy, savory cocktail with gin, umeshu, Cointreau, vanilla and kumquat. There’s also a four-course Macallan whiskey pairing dinner ($138, available till Apr 30) available at Fat Cow, where chef Dan Segall serves up dishes like chargrilled wagyu beef with a heady, slightly fruity Macallan 18 year old.
