All-American burger joint Five Guys may have already marked its territory in Singapore at Plaza Singapura since late 2019, but the popular chain will now be heading into the heartlands with the opening of their latest outlet at Serangoon Central’s Nex.
Officially the burger chain’s second outlet in Singapore, the new locale that resides in the suburban mall is a 73-seater spot that opens today (Jan 11). Best known for its highly customisable menu, those new to Five Guys as well as their loyal fans can expect to create incredible burger combinations (nearly 250,000 combinations await).
Besides the classic cheeseburger and bacon burger, patrons can also opt for a BLT, grilled cheese or veggie sandwich. Burgers can even be enjoyed without the buns—simply say yes to a lettuce wrap or place your ingredients in a bowl instead.
Likewise, the Five Guys milkshake can be tailored to specific tastes with its 10 free mix-ins including peanut butter, salted caramel, banana, and even applewood smoked bacon.
Rumoured to offer a secret menu, Five Guys is actually all about getting creative with orders. Hint: Create the Windy City-approved Chicago Dog with tomato, relish, pickles, hot sauce, mustard, and green peppers. It’s a combination that’s as delicious as it sounds.
Finally, don’t forget to order the free-flow fries which has everyone obsessed; just head to the counter to ask for more servings of the addictive chips fried in peanut oil.
