Are hearty lunches the new dinner?

We wrote about MEATliquor SIN‘s yummy new “rabbit food” lunch menu last week, and now Mediterranean restaurant Maggie Joan’s has launched an expanded list of lunchtime plates.

While there were only three-course options previously, diners can now choose from a wide variety of items like baked eggs with chorizo and chickpea stew ($16), house made parpadelle pasta and lamb ragu ($28), and Australian striploin with gremolata and anchovy butter ($82). There are also sharing plates if you’re coming with a group; the half roasted duck with carrots and feta ($68), and grilled Mediterranean octopus and Persian potato salad ($80) are just some of the choices.

And if you’re planning a lunchtime party during the weekend, Lime at Parkroyal on Pickering has an upsized menu of international buffet items like lobster eggs benedict, roasted wagyu topside and Nonya laksa from $78 per person. Lunch offerings are not new here, but for those with bottomless stomachs, the latest Super Lunch Sunday is one option you might want to have on your radar.
