Attend cooking classes, mixology lessons and private dining experiences at the International Italian Cuisine Week

Like Singapore, cuisine is a major part of Italy’s culture and heritage. Which is why it is no surprise that the Embassy of Italy in Singapore is hosting its sixth edition of the International Week of Italian Cuisine, to showcase the beauty and intricacies of Italian food and wine to locals.

Happening from Nov 22-28, the food festival will allow Singaporeans to discover new flavours and increase their awareness of Italian products.

So get excited to attend everything from private dining experiences to cocktail workshops and more. For instance, gourmands can look forward to online cooking classes presented by Italian Women’s Group in Singapore and Barilla, to learn how to prepare delicious Italian dishes. Participants will get to learn from none other than Barilla’s very own in-house chef, and receive a box of Italian products and wine too.

With event partner Campari, discover the wondrous world of aperitivo through a mixology workshop (limited to 16 participants). Locals can also go for pampering high tea sessions at Regent Hotel or try a private dinner presented by Simone Fraternali at Solo Restaurant, to discover his unique creations over a five-course menu and pairings.

But that’s not all. Week-wide initiatives will also include the Gelato Festival, where budding chefs can try their hand at making ice cream, or indulge in exclusive promotions at Venchi Chocolate and Gelato. There’s even an opportunity to explore Italian cuisine through some of the greatest Italian films ever made, at a live Zoom course with food writer and entrepreneur Anna Lanzani.
