New addition to upcoming hip hood Everton Park Audacious Cakery (#01-61, Blk 2 Everton Park) will throw open its doors on September 24.
The executive pastry chef is Sharryl Ng who has been selling her creations online for around four years. She has completed a professional baking course at local school Creative Culinaire.
At this first brick and mortar effort (co founded by her husband Kenneth Lai), she’ll offer her take on the classic blackforest cake, Foret Noir (from $9.80), Monet (from $9.80), a Champagne cake studded with red currants, and Exotique (from $7.80), a light papaya cake. There are also cupcakes ($4) in flavors such as black sesame and s’mores. Plus, sandwiches made from bread, which they import direct from France.
