Now available at $55/pax for its Afternoon Tea Set, the four-course high tea option offers everything from clam chowder and croque monsieur to tarts and edible flower pots filled with ice cream. You’re paying for pure luxury over at Sofitel City Centre Singapore’s 1864, the cosy lounge beside French-Asian restaurant Racines. Within the floating pods of Pan Pacific Singapore’s Atrium bar, indulge in a Japanese afternoon tea experience that features a tea stand modelled after the very same pods in which you reside. At Four Seasons Hotel Singapore’s One-Ninety Bar, a weekend afternoon tea awaits for just $46. Pull up a seat at the outdoor terraza and feast on finger sandwiches, a range of quiches and brioche toast, as well as acacia honey lemon tea cake and brown sugar shortbread accompanied with clotted cream and homemade jam. A personal favorite of ours, Renku Bar and Lounge is Marina Bay Sands’ first 24-hours premium bar lounge. There aren’t exactly tiers here, but there is a custom-made gueridon trolley wheeling your treats that’s a worthy substitute. The unlimited buffet of finger sandwiches, scones and desserts is delightful, but the piece de resistance is the five-star tea service. Pick from 13 unique artisanal blends (like the pandan earl grey black tea, or MBS exclusive jasmine tea Marina Pearls), and feel free to switch out to another pot any time throughout your meal so you can taste the full line-up. Trust Skai to deliver one of the most lavish high tea affairs we’ve seen thus far. Located on level 70, the Swissotel The Stamford restaurant offers both opulent bites filled with foie gras and truffle, as well as incredible, panoramic views of the city. ‘Cause dainty bites just taste better when you’re miles above ground. Tea Lounge
On weekdays, Regent Singapore’s Tea Lounge serves some of the most delicious scones in town, along with premium finger sandwiches like Mimosa Sandwich with Avruga Caviar and bites of Roasted Angus Beef with English Mustard and Black Truffle on Whole Grain Bread. Coffee lovers will be stoked to know that the drinks menu include Illy blends of espresso beverages, while tea drinkers can expect a variety of herbal, floral and fruity options.
