Just for the Chinese New Year season, Canelé Pâtisserie Chocolaterie‘s recent addition executive pastry chef Christophe Grilo has drawn on classic Spring Festival faves to create his own take on things with pineapple tart macarons ($2.50) and Celestial Sphere ($8.80), a mandarin orange mousse cake that’s fashioned to look like, you guessed it, a mandarin orange.
