Mark your calendars folks. One of our favorite dim sum chefs, Michelin-starred Mak Kwai Pui of Hong Kong institution Tim Ho Wan, will be dropping by from October 11-14 at Cassia.
Chef Mak will be cooking up a storm, so be quick and book yourself a spot pronto. There’s a four-course set lunch or dinner ($48, October 11-12; $108, October 11-14), as well as a five-course Weekend Dim Sum Experience ($58, October 12-14) to choose from.
You’ll also find a la carte offerings such as those famous char siew bo luo bao (we’ve been known to cart them back to Singapore by the dozen), deep-fried shrimp dumplings with foie gras sauce and black truffle mushroom dumplings.
