The Grand Lobby at Raffles Hotel, Singapore has introduced the Moscow Afternoon Tea experience where guests can indulge in a unique menu of classic Russian treats by executive pastry chef Tai Chien Lin.
From now till Mar 14, choose from classic Russian canapes, home-baked scones and sweet treats such as Russian Apple Sharlotka, Cranberry Kissel, Ptichye Moloko and more. Pair them with Mariage Freres premium tea or Raffles custom-blended coffee.
Amongst other delicacies inspired by the capital city are a specially curated array of Kristal Caviar and smoked salmon blinis, black sesame seed bagels, rye bread and beet caviar.
Further heighten your gastronomic journey with handcrafted cocktails such as Post Imperial Kir, a fruity concoction made with champagne, gin, raspberry, cherry and orange; Babushkiny Luchshiye, a blend of rum, apple, beet, milk, tea and citrus; and Tarragon Tat’yana, a potent mix of vodka, vermouth, sake and tarragon.
Moscow is the latest destination in The Grand Lobby’s thematic experience where guests are taken on a journey to revel in the unique culinary flavours of selected distinctive cities around the world (the previous city was Vienna).
All thematic afternoon tea reservations have to be made at least one day in advance. Guests have up to Mar 14 before the journey continues to another city of the world.
