As one of our favourite acts of self-pampering, there’s always something magical about afternoon tea. The new Hilton Singapore Orchard promises to deliver that magic and more with The Orchard Trail Experience.

 

 

Surrounded by an uplifting botanical-inspired environment, Ginger.Lily – the hotel’s lobby lounge and bar – introduces a refined afternoon tea ritual that tells the story of Orchard Road’s past as a vibrant plantation, paying tribute to the famous precinct it sits on. The exquisite set also features spices and flora found in the precinct’s storied past.

 

 

Flushed with an abundance of natural light within the communal heart of the hotel, Ginger.Lily’s afternoon tea experience brings guests on a four-part journey through savoury, sweet, thirst, and take me home, meticulously curated to enhance the exploration of Orchard Road’s colonial and plantation heritage.

 

 

The Orchard Trail Experience presents a range of gourmet finger sandwiches and warm savouries like Mini Lobster Rolls and Smoked Beef Burgers to kick-start the experience, alongside freshly backed Vanilla Madagascar and Golden Raisins House Scones with classic condiments that include a signature Ginger.Lily jam.

Enjoy them with a choice of ten premium tea varieties including a specially curated Ginger.Lily house blend with hints of floral and light spice notes.

 

 

Taking centre stage would be the inspiring handcrafted desserts imbued with spices and flora, served in an enchanting dessert drawer fashioned into a storybook. Highlights on display include the Spiced Apple Tatin and its medley of sweet and spiced notes from cloves, black pepper, cinnamon, and gingerbread spice, the Amatika Chocolate Cake made with vegan Valrhona chocolate, the Almond Fig Tart that also boasts hints of nutmeg, and the eye-catching Pink Peppercorn Cherry Macaron, passionately crafted with fresh cherries, peppercorn, and 64% milk chocolate.
