Have meaty meatless Mondays at Little Farms this month

As the world progressively shifts towards healthier eating habits and more sustainable culinary practices, we find ourselves inadvertently drawn into the process and learning to appreciate the benefits they bring as it happens all around us.

Presenting a convenient solution for us is Little Farms, purveyor of quality and fresh all-natural and organic produce. From a humble grocery store, they’ve since expanded to include in-store kitchens, cafés, and fresh butcher counters to continue providing us with greater options for delicious and mindful food.

Taking yet another monumental step, they’ve launched their first-ever plant-based menu.

A collaboration between Little Farms and Country Foods, one of Singapore’s largest food distributors, the brand-new five-course menu is one that aims to tantalise the palates of vegans and flexitarians alike.

Shining the spotlight on plant-based ingredients by Fable, HAPPIEE!, and v2, the exquisite menu is not only sustainable and nutritious, it also boasts incredible textures and flavours.

To start the meal, diners can look forward to the Fable Slider Smash & Olive Oil Bruschetta, an interplay of earthy, sweet, and sour notes from pickled onions, mushrooms, and truss tomatoes. Then there’s the HAPPIEE! Squidiee, where konjac squid is battered and deep-fried to a nice golden-brown, paired with aromatic sesame coriander dukkah and vegan sriracha mayo.

Then, indulge in the Burgundy Braised Fable Ragout. Cooked for 5 hours, the dish presents the same texture as real pulled pork and is doused in a piquant truffle jus, accompanied with a heap of pomme puree. Moving on, the v2 Smoky Pork & Spinach Crepe Alfredo features the brand’s signature flavours in a thin crepe and delicious white sauce.

End the meal on a high with their Chocolate Avocado Mousse dessert, a charming sweet-savoury treat with its chocolate soil, strawberry crisps, and miso caramel.

With an option to include a zero-waste Tepache Twist Cocktail, the fully plant-based menu will be available at Little Farms Bistro, Katong Point, every Monday from Sep 05 onwards, throughout the month of September.
