Fancy food delivery service UberEATS is now available in Singapore

Joining existing food delivery services FoodPanda and Deliveroo (who is partnering with Grab), UberEATS has launched here today. For a limited period, the app is offering those living and working in areas like Tanjong Pagar, River Valley, Orchard and the CBD access to over 100 restaurants with no minimum spend.

On the list are quality establishments like Burnt Ends (the San Pellegrino-lauded Australian grill that only accepts 6pm reservations), Spanish tapas restaurant FOC and Korean Tex-Mex gastrobar Vatos Urban Tacos. UberEATS promises to deliver within 30 mins from 11am-10:30pm, and like FoodPanda and Deliveroo, food options will be limited by proximity. While we are stoked about the exciting line-up of restaurants, don’t expect to be able to order any dish off their regular menus—the service has collaborated with the chefs to produce a curated (and delivery-friendly) selection instead.

The free app can be downloaded on both IOS and Android phones, and first-time users of the service can use the one-time code SGXEATS to get $15 off their order.
