Thanks to Instagram (@fluffbakery) and the overwhelming demand from over 14,500 fans, owner and chief baker Nursyazanna Syaira Mohd Suhimi decided to turn her home business into a real establishment with the opening of Fluff Bakery for all to enjoy her halal creations.
The confectionery store officially opened on Saturday, November 2 and will re-open this Thursday (the owners are taking a little break). The bakery will sell cupcakes, cakes, cookies and other sweets ($4-$8) in a variety of flavors, ranging from the unusual chocolate milkshake and fries, to classic choices like red velvet—which, by the way, made the cut for HerWorld’s list of Singapore’s top 100 desserts.
The bakery will feature a weekly rotating menu (although bestsellers, like red velvet and salted caramel, will be permanent items), switching things up frequently with its 80-odd recipes.
Fluff Bakery first started when Syaira began baking for friends and family as a hobby. Before the opening of her store, the talented baker also worked to supply cupcakes, cakes, cookies and baked goods and salted caramel in jars to popular cafés like Penny University and French-inspired tearoom, Parlour by Ashley Isham.
