French gourmet grocery store Quartier now open at Serangoon Gardens

French gourmet food store Quartier now open at Serangoon Gardens offering a range of hard-to-find European groceries.

Pascal Jauffret, the store director, says, “Our dairy products—butter, yogurt, cream—are mostly unique to us in Singapore, as is our cheese, which is cut on-demand as it is in France.”

On offer are items like Paysan Breton butter ($4.50), cheeses like St Marcellin, Comté, Chaource and Reblochon fermier and—a first in Singapore—boxed wine (from $24). Besides that, there is imported produce such as potato vitelotte ($2.40/100g), radishes ($2.07/100g) and onions from Roscoff ($2.33/100g). The store also carries bread and pastries by bakery Paul.
