Guzman y Gomez is giving away free burritos at The Star Vista

Westies, leave your wallets behind and head to the Mexican chain Guzman y Gomez, which opens at The Star Vista on Oct 31. They are giving away free burritos from 12pm-5pm.

The hungry lunch stampede will get to choose from steak, chicken cuts, pork and even sauteed barramundi, which is marinated in Guerrero marinade, the brand’s chipotle or vegetarian filling. Pack this in a tortilla or have it in a bowl, minus the carbs (if you’re on a gluten-free diet, that is). For sides and drinks, choose from the ever-popular churros ($2.95), frozen margaritas ($10.50) and Coronas ($9.50).

There will also be a live mariachi band if you want to dance, although we are raring to see if the culinary team can churn out more burritos than the 6,360 made at the outlet in Australia’s Robina Town Centre.
