If you haven’t already explored the area around the Downtown Line 2, then here’s another reason to go—there’s a new hawker center at the junction of Bukit Panjang Ring Road and Bukit Panjang Road. This means there are a lot more food options coming up in the area, and it’s definitely one to watch in the coming months.
The hawker center opened on Dec 29 and has 28 stalls with 500 seats. Many of the stalls have food items that are priced slightly lower than other hawker centers. Plus, there are also more halal options, so you don’t have to trek to Al-Azhar in Bukit Timah or to Teck Whye’s kopitiams.
