Here’s what to expect at this year’s World Gourmet Summit

The 19th edition of the star-studded World Gourmet Summit is back from Apr 6 to May 3 and, naturally, there are tons of events, classes, dinners and galas to attend.

This year, look out for visiting chefs like the Roca brothers from three Michelin-starred El Celle de Can Roca, who will be cooking up a Macallan-paired meal (Apr 21, $688) at Bacchanalia, a four hands dinner with Jaan’s Julien Royer and Christope Muller of L’Auberge Du Pont de Collonges (Apr 24, $500), as well as a foie gras dinner at Forlino (Apr 22, $328). There are some locally-based talents, too like Chef Ivan Brehm of Bacchanalia and Andrew Nocente of W Hotel’s Skirt.

This time round, workshops include a street food crash course by Will Meyrick and a Royal English after tea workshop by London-based local chef, Cherish Finden. There are also sake workshops and chocolate-centric classes by chocolate master, Franck Hasnoot.
