First, there was speakeasy-style cocktail bar 28 HongKong Street with its superstar bartenders. Then, came a slew of other restaurants and cafes like hip coffee shop Ronin, Spanish tapas joint FOC and Latin American cocktail bar and restaurant Vasco, by the boys of The Cufflink Club.
Now, fine dining restaurant and cocktail bar Bacchanalia, led by Chef Ivan Brehm, formerly of Fat Duck, is setting up shop on the short stretch of road. They’re leaving their current space in the Masonic House on Coleman Street by mid-August. While we don’t know the exact location of the restaurant, clearly this street is (eternally) Singapore’s hot new place to be.
For now, the current location will be taking reservations until Jul 18.
