There’s now a new place to have Korean barbecue

Popular South Korean charcoal barbecue restaurant Seorae Galmaegi is launching its first Singapore outlet at Plaza Singapura, bringing its signature Korean galmaegisal, or pork skirt, to meat lovers here.

The pork skirt, found between the ribs and the belly of the pig, is marinated with Korean spices, grilled using the restaurant’s “circle grilling technique” and served with spicy dipping sauces. Also heating things up for fans of Korean barbecue are a selection of prime pork and beef cuts, melted cheese on the grill and traditional Korean stews. And to cool things off, the patbingsoo (shaved ice dessert), comes in flavors like popcorn and caramel, and honeydew.

Seorae Galmaegi will be opening on Dec 28, at #02-01 Plaza Singapura. In the meantime, check out their Instagram
