La Taperia Restaurant has a new sister outlet that’s devoted to Spanish wines

Fans of Spanish cuisine, rejoice—La Taperia Restaurant has opened an all-new, spin-off establishment in the heart of Orchard Road that’s all about the wines. In a corner street of Shaw Centre, La Taperia Wine & Tapas curates the best of Spanish wines, along with old and new world wines. The menu is extensive to say the least, with reds and whites from Spain, France and Italy, as well as rose and sparklings.

As for food, it’s a menu of classic Spanish tapas, including suckling pig croquettes ($4 per piece), crispy baby squid ($12); plus heavier signatures like the Iberian pork ($18) and 200-day grain-fed Black Angus beef ($26).There’re also desserts like the premium cheese platter ($14) and the obligatory churros ($3.50 per piece), to enjoy with your wines if you’d like.

Already open in its soft launch, the little wine and tapas den seats only 24. If it’s anything like its big brother, it should do well.

La Taperia Wine & Tapas is located at #02-18, Shaw Centre, and is open Mon-Sat from 5pm. More info here.
