A fresh new eatery, Onion Restaurant & Bar, has set up shop along Bukit Timah Road.
The casual spot serves up Mediterranean fare including chilled seafood platters (from $68.80), as well as hot and cold tapas like gambas al ajillo (Spanish tiger prawns with garlic and bell peppers; $10.80) and oysters with Cava ($12.80 for two).
If you’re after something more substantial, Western mains including roasted lamb rack with red wine sauce ($25.80) and braised chicken stew in rosemary-garlic sauce ($16.80) should do the trick.
