After a two-month delay, restaurateur Olivier Bendel’s latest venture Le Petit Cancale, a homage to Cancale the unofficial oyster capital of Brittany, is finally open for business.
Situated right beside his first offering steak frites bistro, L’Entrecôte, this French eatery serves up fresh seafood specialties including the Le Grand Cancale ($195), an epic platter of Northern French oysters, Maine lobster, Zool crab, clams, whelks, langoustines and grey shrimp. To end your meal, there’s also a salty butter caramel lava cake ($15).
