Brits, and everyone else really, will be pleased to know that Sunday dinners are now available at lunchtime, as LeVel33 (#33-01 Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 1, 8 Marina Blvd., 6834-3133) has recently introduced a Sunday roast menu. Available from noon-5:30pm, it features items such as an all day breakfast platter ($25) of bacon rashers, scrumptious sausages, thick-cut chips fried in duck fat, a sunny side up, vine-ripened tomatoes, forest mushrooms, baked beans, malt bread and some drool-worthy homemade 33.1 blond lager ketchup, as well as substantial roasts (both $38) like 120-day grain-fed beef with Yorkshire pudding and oven-baked veggies, and whole spring chicken with fried sage and yet more bacon. There are also dishes to share, including slow-roasted Oz lamb shoulder ($125) and crisp Aussie Black Berkshire pork belly ($130), both served with cumin-roasted cauliflower, mash and mixed greens. And of course, you can wash it all down with brews including a limited edition 33.5 Czech Amber ($9.33 upwards).
