Life is Beautiful’s new food truck-inspired dinners

It’s time for Fat Tuesdays. Life is Beautiful has roped in Chef Tim Ross-Watson (best known for his now-defunct restaurant Garden of Eden) to serve up a special weekly menu inspired by the food truck culture of New Orleans. The NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana) restaurant, bar and lounge goes back to basics with lots of comfort food, Southern-style.

For the first installment, starting Tuesday Oct 14, there are dishes like little po’boys, a mini buttered bun stuffed with pulled pork and pickles; chicken n waffles with Southern fried chicken, miso maple butter and hot sauce; soul sliders, a dish made of gumbo prawns and beef sliders; as well as a layered chocolate sponge with Lynchburg lemonade ganache with cream and maraschino cherry.
