Local celeb Vernetta Lopez opens new restaurant Roundhouse Pizza, Bar & Grill on Turf Club Road

Local celeb Vernetta Lopez—together with husband Wayne Gladwin and partners—has just launched a new restaurant Roundhouse Pizza, Bar & Grill on Turf Club Road.

The casual dining spot offers simple grills such as grilled sashimi grade salmon—cooked medium rare—with cauliflower mash ($28), as well as a range of pizzas like the Loco Lopez ($24), which is topped with cheddar, capers, birdseye chili, salami and jalapeno, plus stewed apple and chocolate brownie pizza ($24) for dessert.

There’s also a breakfast menu (Sat-Sun 8-11:30am) including Eggs Benedict ($14), a three-egg omelette ($14) and pancakes ($14).

For more details on the new eatery, check out our interview with Vernetta Lopez.
