Marina Bay Sands’ dining options are about to get even more exciting and this time, it involves Gordon Ramsay’s much-awaited restaurant, as well as Wolfgang Puck’s second venture in Singapore.
Come end of June, Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant Bread Street Kitchen will open in the space formerly occupied by Moluccas Room in The Shoppes. It’ll be an industrial warehouse-style restaurant and bar that whips up British European food, much like its London counterpart. However, the restaurant plans to incorporate Singaporean tweaks to dishes using fresh and seasonal produce.
The hotel will also see a new restaurant by Wolfgang Puck. While his steakhouse CUT has become a staple in The Shoppes, his latest restaurant, slated for an end-of-year opening, will set up shop on the 57th floor of the hotel. The celebrity chef’s flagship restaurant in LA, Spago will be reincarnated in Singapore. It takes over the space formerly occupied by The Cheese and Chocolate Bar, which has moved down to the 55th floor. The restaurant will dish out Californian cuisine and if the American flagship is anything to go by, the kitchen will be cooking up dishes like lamb rack with eggplant caviar and harissa, as well as farfalle pasta with Maine lobster.
