Martin Road Thai restaurant KHA offers new Isaan menu by new executive chef Adam Cliff

Thai restaurant KHA is now offering an updated menu of Isaan plates care of new executive chef Adam Cliff, who honed his culinary chops under noted chef David Thompson.

The latest offerings include pla phao glua ($30), salt-crusted whole seabass, and nuer yung jim jaew ($23), grilled wagyu beef with smoky tomato chili relish. The flavors are inspired by the northeastern region of Thailand and are more straightforward than the sweeter cuisines of central Thailand. Chef Cliff has worked at top Thai establishments worldwide including Nahm London, Nahm Bangkok, Bo.lan Bangkok and Sailors Thai in Sydney.

That’s not all that’s going on at Martin Road. Looks like the area’s becoming the next foodie hub. Last year, the stretch welcomed paella bar BOMBA and an outlet of Baker & Cook. And this year, Common Man Coffee Roasters—a collaborative effort by 40 Hands and Australian roaster Five Senses—is slated to open there on August 1.
