Michelin Guide Singapore welcomes more 2 and 3 Michelin-starred restaurants in its 2021 selection

The Michelin Guide Singapore is back. Following a one-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s selection of star-studded restaurants once again spotlights some of our country’s finest eats and eateries.

Held via livestream on the official Michelin Guide Singapore Facebook page and Michelin Guide Asia YouTube channel, the event unveiled the 2021 list of one, two and three Michelin-starred restaurants across the island.

First, Michelin Guide Singapore 2021 announced 12 new additions to its one-star list, including newcomers such as Art, Cloudstreet, Oshino and Sommer. Among the 12, five restaurants—Cure, Esora, Shang Palace, Thevar and 28 Wilkie—were promoted from Plate to a one Michelin star.

The Michelin Guide Singapore also promoted Jaan by Kirk Westaway, awarding the modern European-British restaurant with two Michelin stars this year.

And to the excitement of many, the Michelin Guide Singapore Star Revelation announced three three Michelin-starred restaurants as Les Amis and Odette both retained their stars, and Zen climbed to three stars.

But in case you were wondering, Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle has now become the only one Michelin-starred eatery offering local hawker fare, as Hawker Chan is skipped from the 2021 list.
