You’ve probably been to or simply admired Monti from afar. It’s that amazing Italian restaurant and bar floating atop the waters of Marina Bay (wayyy before some tech company did it), located serenely within the iconic Fullerton Pavilion.

They serve up some of the best fine Italian nosh in town, and whether you’re already a regular or never been there before, there’s now more to look forward to with their new pop-up patio that’s welcoming guests only till end-Oct.

The all-alfresco Monti Patio is found just a hop and skip away from Monti itself, within the One Fullerton waterfront row of restaurants. The pop-up is being set up in part as a celebration of Monti’s recent recognition by the Italian Chamber of Commerce, in the form of the Ospitalita Italiana, a certification awarded only to world-class Italian restaurants around the world.

At the Monti Patio, find a curated menu any Monti diner will find familiar, with touches to make it a more convivial, casual visit. Bar bites available include their satisfying Oven-baked Mid Wings ($16) and Truffle Fries ($14), while those looking for a fuller meal can go for their Truffle Pizza ($30) or even the 250g Prime Rib Eye Tagliata Di Manzo ($69). Their steaks are truly some of the best in town, so you know you’ll definitely have a great time here.

Then wash it all down while admiring the Marina Bay waterfront with beers (from $15 a pint) and wines (from $15 a glass) going at all-night happy hour prices. House pour spirits are available too, from just $12. We especially recommend the Menabrea Lager ($16), a storied Italian beer that’s sure to hit the spot.

If you’re looking for more, head on over from Fridays to Sundays, where the Rosé-a-go-go will be held in two 3-hour sessions, from 4.30-7.30pm and from 7.30-10.30pm. It’s basically a free-flowing session ($78 nett per person) of wines, beers, spritzers, rosés (of course) and butler-served Italian bites. Expect nibbles like pizzas, skewers and even truffle risotto made hot tableside in a cheese wheel to be served.

On Sep 26, a special Festival del Prosciutto x Rosé-a-go-go will be held too, highlighting a chef-curated menu of parma ham dishes. Just for that evening, there will be a live station set-up on the patio from 6pm, so you can see the skilled chef in action.

There’s much happening, yet the pop-up patio will be around only for a limited time. Be sure to check it out before it’s too late.

The Monti Patio pop-up is located at #01-01 One Fullerton, open from Mon-Thu (5-10.30pm) and Fri-Sun (4.30-10.30pm) till end-Oct.
