It seems like June’s been a big month on the food front, with no sign of it letting up any time soon. 1-Caramel at Rochester Park (2/F, 1 Rochester Park, 6774-1302) is in business, with a selection of sweet treats and an all-day brunch menu made for late-risers like us.
Launched just last week and in time for Independence Day is Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chop House (20 Gemmill Lane, 6221-4468), an American dining concept by Travis Masiero. Oysters galore and a whole host of other comfort eats like burgers, chops and steaks make an appearance. We’re already drooling.
Another spot due to open soon is Sauce (#01-10/12 Esplanade Mall, 8 Raffles Ave., 6837-2959), a bar and grill joint by the folks behind The Butter Factory. It’s all very well thought out, if you ask us. So after you wolf down a steak and chug down some beer, you can hit the club and burn off those calories.
Also of note, EM.PO.RI.UM Cocktail Bar & Restaurant (5 Ann Siang Rd., 6225-4816) located just across from The Screening Room, will be rolling out its restaurant space by the end of the month.
Yet another dining spot to look out for is Vineyard @ HortPark (HortPark, 33 Hyderabad Rd., 6479-7977), the latest offering from the Creative Eateries Group. Opening on Jul 1, it will feature a range of Thai, French and Italian fare, so the indecisive will be pleased.
