New Chinese establishment Majestic Bay Seafood Restaurant now open at Gardens by the Bay

Here’s another dining option that’s worth popping by the next time you’re looking for a bite at Gardens by the Bay: Majestic Bay Seafood Restaurant

This bright and airy arrival is thanks to chef/owner Yong Bing Ngen (you probably know him from his other venture Majestic Restaurant in Chinatown) and hotelier Loh Lik Peng.

The emphasis at this modern Chinese restaurant in Singapore with nautical touches is on fresh seafood, so expect to find dishes like baked rice with assorted seafood like baby abalone, prawns and mussels (from $68), wok-fried prawns and radish cake with XO chili sauce (from $20) and the signature kopi crab (market price), cooked in a special sauce made with a blend of three different kinds of coffee beans.

Also on offer are dim sum items (only available during lunch) by Guangzhou chef Li Shou Tai like baked bbq pork bun ($4.20 for three pieces) and seared chili crab meat bun ($4.50 for three pieces), as well as sweets including glutinous rice dumpling with fresh cream stuffing ($4.50 for three pieces) and steamed custard buns with salted egg yolk ($4.50 for three pieces).
