New cooking school and gourmet store Milk & Honey now open at Sembawang Hills

New cooking school and gourmet store Milk & Honey opened this week at Sembawang Hills.

Partner at Milk & Honey Richmond Tung says, “We are currently fully booked for gatherings, corporate training and team-building events. Hence we will roll out the classes from May onwards. So stay tuned.”

Some of the classes to be offered in May include The Ultimate Burger Adventure ($130) and Asian Truffle Bonanza ($120). These hands-on sessions mostly last for two to four hours. “The time spent really depends on the complexity of the class. The chef will demo and then the participants will proceed to work on their own rendition. The class ends with them eating their creations for lunch or dinner,” says Tung.

Each of the classes can accommodate 10 to 24 folks, with a maximum of two people to each work station. Some classes are paired with beverages such as wine or beer experience and themed door gifts—such as new spice rubs the school would like to promote—are handed out after each workshop. The kitchens are outfitted with equipment by sponsors SMEG and Degrenne Paris.
