Farrer Park’s new izakaya has super pretty, mouthwatering sets

Trust Les Amis Group to give the shabby izakaya concept the chic treatment. Their new Jinzakaya over at Farrer Park is wonderfully Instagrammable, kind of streets-of-LA meets Kill Bill, and also serves a varied menu of small plates, skewers, yakimono mains, salads, ramen and udon.

It also features a decent list of sakes, shochu and beers on tap, but the highlight has to be the tapas-style bites and set lunches with yummy choices like the hiyashi chuka ramen ($12.80), with crab meat, salmon roe, shredded chicken and cold noodles; MBS 8 Wagyu namban ($15), spring onion wrapped with sliced Wagyu beef and kitsune natto ($3.50), fried tofu stuffed with fermented beans.
