New Japanese restaurant Ramen Keisuke Tori King now open in Tanjong Pagar

Calling all noodle fans. There’s a hot new spot to check out in Tanjong Pagar, Ramen Keisuke Tori King

You might not know who Keisuke Takeda is (aka Tokyo Ramen King of 2011), but you should already know about his eateries here such as Keisuke Tokyo and Tonkotsu King (one of our favorite ramen joints).

Takeda-san’s latest, Ramen Keisuke Tori King, is now open at brand spanking new mall, 100 AM. What makes his newest 35-seat venture so special is the fact that unlike most other ramen establishments, the broth is not pork- but tori- (chicken) based using ingredients like chicken bones, chicken feet, Japanese seaweed and different vegetables boiled for at least eight hours.

Like Tonkotsu King, the menu is compact with only three flavors to choose from: original (from $11.90), black spicy (from $12.90) and green spicy (from $12.90), with a dollop of wasabi sauce. Each is served with a chicken thigh that’s first boiled then grilled, and yes, there’s free-flow of hard-boiled eggs and bean sprouts, too.
