Restaurant group Shiraz—which already runs a flagship restaurant at Clarke Quay and two stands (one outside The Forum and the other at Ngee Ann City)—has just launched Persian eatery Shiraz Lazziz at The Star Vista.
The new outlet is a lively alfresco setup on the second floor of the mall with an open kitchen. It plays uptempo dance beats and has belly dancing acts for entertainment on select evenings.
Expect a menu of dishes like the house specialty Meigu Polo ($18), prawns and basmati rice, tabbouleh ($8) and lamb shawarma ($11.50).
Accompanying the food is a list of mostly New World wines (from $12/glass, $55/bottle) including labels such as Salena Estate from Australia as well as Laura Hartwig and Viu Manent from Chile.
The eatery joins other new food and beverage openings at The Star Vista including Boston Seafood Shack, Jamaica Blue, Senor Taco and Lee’s Taiwanese.
