New restaurant Fortnight changes their concept every two weeks

New restaurant Fortnight—by the same folks behind Windowsill Pies and tucked away behind their bakery—changes their concept and menu biweekly.

The debut menu theme was “poultry” (with dishes such as turkey meatloaf) and the next set of dishes, themed “steak”, will be served from March 22 onwards. Planned items include steak diane ($22) and carpetbag steak ($25), which involves stuffing a steak with oysters.

For the next round, the theme will be “salad” and the chefs intend to prepare color coordinated plates such as Orange and Green (braised carrot with parsley, brown butter and honey) as well as Green and Pink (haricot vert, crushed hazelnut and pink peppercorns).

For more information, head to the Fortnight Facebook page.
