Good news for fans of seafood in Singapore. There’s yet another new restaurant to satisfy your seafood cravings at: The Pelican Seafood Bar & Grill.
With a stunning view of the waterfront, this recent arrival features comfy booth seats, a cool copper feature wall and fun elements like fuchsia seahorse fixtures.
Inspired by classic East Coast American cuisine, expect offerings such as baked snapper pie ($36), potato and salt cod mash ($16) and old fashioned crab cakes ($22). They also offer freshly-shucked oysters and the signature Pelican platter, comprised of delectables like oysters, clams, lobster, crab and prawns, as well as daily catch and woodfire grilled offerings such as skate wing chop with burnt lemon butter ($32) and line-caught swordfish steak with fresh herb vinaigrette ($36). Non-seafood items include black peppered candied bacon ($14) and Angus beef ribeye cap with whiskey mustard ($58).
You’ll also find a strong cocktail menu, care of Richard Gillam, including tipples like the Pelican ($20), with Ketel One vodka, Grand Marnier, sparkling Chandon wine, Giffard Apricot, fresh pink grapefruit and raspberry, and a variety of 10 mojitos ($16).
