Sentosa Cove has a new alfresco terrace and it’s got a pedigree. Emmanuel Stroobant’s restaurant Saint Pierre has a new extension where you’ll find plates of fresh Fine de Claire oysters and seafood platters with scallop sashimi, tuna tartare, smoked salmon and some prawn sushi. Carnivores also get plates of steak tartare, wagyu beef carpaccio with truffle dressing and pan-fried foie gras with apple and port sauce. Plus, there’s an extensive list of wines, champagnes and cocktails, too.
If you’re into sake, you’ll be glad to know that Tiong Bahru Japanese restaurant Ikyu will debut a brand new dedicated sake bar that covers all types of the Japanese rice wine. They’ll be converting their space into a dedicated sake area, complete with backyard garden access. Tucked away in Yong Siak Street, the sexy and dim restaurant will also start sake delivery services. There’s no word yet on how far they’ll deliver, but it’s there’s free delivery on all purchases above $150. Plus, there’s a promo starting May 1 with one-for-one sake bottles and special sakes imported from Japan for the occassion.
