Inspired by Nordic flavors, new deli Gaest on McCallum Street offers sandwiches, brunch specials and more.
Expect breakfast items like homemade sourdough with Gaest’s signature rhubarb compote ($7) and hot oat porridge with almond flakes, fresh fruit, homemade caramel and milk ($7), as well as sandwiches like roasted pork with orange marinated fresh red cabbage, red apple and mustard mayonnaise ($13).
The cake selection changes often so check with the staff. As for drinks, there’s coffee (from $4), hot dark chocolate and hot white chocolate ($6 each), and teas like English breakfast and peppermint ($4.50 each).
