NTUC Foodfare opens new food court at Marina Bay Financial Centre

NTUC Foodfare launched its first outlet in Singapore at Marina Bay Financial Centre yesterday September 26.
The food loft, which prides itself on having great affordable fine dining options, looks distinctly upscale and cozy with lamp fixtures, a biscuit wall assembled from old school biscuit tins, a live performance area for jazz band performances and standup comedy acts and even a sports bar and lounge. There are television screens as well as electronic LED tickers that run breaking news and updates from Reuters for the office crowd.
Expect 14 local food stalls including reputable restaurant chains such as Sakae SushiGo India and Wang Café with offerings like fusili arabiata ($5), a chicken tikka kebab set and a butter chicken set ($6.50).
Stalls like Switch!, Doodle!, Local Delights and Sachi also offer dishes such as mushroom and vegetable ipoh ho fun ($3.90), white or black fried carrot cake ($3.50), apple pear pork ribs soup ($3.80), cha soba ($4.50) and garlic rice ($3.90). Foodfare is also launching an online food catering and collection service, the first of its kind in Singapore.
