Vegans rejoice—more plant-based meat alternatives are coming your way. And that’s all thanks to revolutionary meat analogue brand OmniFoods, which is introducing five new vegetarian products under its latest OmniSeafood range.
Best known for its OmniMeat series which includes OmniMeat Mince and OmniMeat Luncheon, OmniFoods’ new launch aims to inspire more plant-based protein consumption, to reduce negative environmental impacts such as severe overfishing and the lack of seafood safety.
The new line comprises Omni Classic Fillet, Omni Golden Fillet, and Omni Ocean Burger; as well as OmniTuna and the forthcoming OmniSalmon. These offer a brand new experience of high-quality plant-based fish with culinary versatility.
Crafted with a proprietary blend of plant-based protein made from non-GMO soy, pea and rice; Omni Classic Fillet, Omni Golden Fillet and Omni Ocean Burger entail meat-free alternatives of white fish in various flavours and preparations.
For instance, the Classic Fillet can be enjoyed grilled or in hotpot (yes, you read correctly); while the Golden Fillet is best enjoyed fried, and alongside deep-fried chips. On the other hand, the Ocean Burger is perfect for a homemade fillet-no-fish.
All certified vegan and buddhist-friendly, the five options will undoubtedly satisfy locals who have adopted a plant-based lifestyle.
Available in Singapore from Q4 2021 onwards, these OmniSeafood items will also be featured in dishes at restaurants in Singapore then. So look forward to trying these new plant-based alternatives in your own home, as well as savouring them at cafes and eateries islandwide.
Choosing to go plant-based has never been easier.
