One of the world’s most unusual dining experiences is heading to JB

You’ve probably seen it on a food or travel show, and you’ve probably thought that the people doing it had to be insane, now you’ll have an opportunity to experience Dinner in the Sky for yourself. The one-of-a-kind dining experience will be at Johor’s Puteri Harbour from May 20 to Jun 19. Founded in 2006, Dinner in the Sky uses a crane to suspend a dining table 150 feet in the air – diners, waiters and all. It was named one of the world’s most unusual dining experiences by Forbes.

The four-course menu at Puteri Harbour begins with a starter of marinated wild strawberries with feta cheese and white anchovies followed by green pea and basil soup. For mains, you’ll have a choice of Australian lamb rump, free range chicken breast, slow-cooked wagyu beef cheek or baked cod and you’ll finish up with a cherry tiramisu. A vegetarian menu is available as well. The dinner is priced at either RM599 ($207) or RM699 ($242) depending on the day and session.
