Many restaurants in Singapore have looked to nature for inspiration when it comes to decor while others have gone out of the way to plonk themselves among nature itself. If you love having a good meal in the open but can’t be bothered to go all the way to Seletar Aerospace Park or make the climb up Dempsey Hill, there’s always PS. Cafe.
While we personally enjoy the more intimate, cozier outlet on Ann Siang Hill, we’ve got to hand it to them for opening yet another offshoot—and their biggest one too—at One Fullerton. In case you forgot, PS.Cafe had its early beginnings as a little cafe hidden within Projectshop clothing store, but quickly rose over 17 years because of its charm and quirky spin on savoury cafe staples (yes we’re talking about the truffle shoestring fries and unapologetically indulgent cakes).
The 5000 sq. ft. outlet can sit 160 people and boasts sweeping views of MBS, the Merlion and the waters below. While it may not be the greatest outlet to have a quiet evening (you can go to their Ann Siang or Dempsey Hill outlets for that), a table on the open-air terrace or within the private dining room sounds great too. There’s also a sprawling bar area to try out concoctions like their take on the Singapore Sling.
Apart from this new outlet at One Fullerton, the team will also be opening another new outlet at Raffles City this December.
PS. Café One Fullerton will be located at #02-03B/04 One Fullerton, 1 Fullerton Rd. when it opens in August.
