It seems like there’s a never-ending stream of three-in-one concepts opening up recently. Whether it’s a bar-restaurant combo or a cafe tacked on with a store or workshop, it’s very de rigeur to be multi-hyphenate.
The newest to the bunch is The Refinery. It has a three-story space that’s been set up by The General Company, the same folks who spearhead Tyrwhitt General Company and design firm Architology. The Refinery houses a yakitori joint on the first floor, a bespoke cocktail bar helmed by ex-Ah Sam bartender Eugene Chua on the second, and a craft workshop on the third.
Expect a casual atmosphere with a more refined take on yakitori and classic cocktails with a twist.
