In celebration of its 10th birthday, Restaurant Ember has rolled out a special retrospective menu available now through December.
Chef and owner Sebastian Ng has crafted a menu showcasing both old and new signature European dishes. New offerings include fresh Hokkaido scallop with ponzu and sesame vinaigrette ($15), pan-roasted Bresse pigeon in an orange puree and port wine reduction ($45) and slow-roasted Challan duck breast with capers salsa and truffle jus ($40), while popular classics such as angel hair pasta tossed in lobster oil and topped with crispy sakura ebi ($27) and crispy tofu accented with an addictive truffle-infused mirin sauce($16) will also be available.
Don’t pass on dessert as Ng also does one of the meanest apple tarte tatins ($16) in the city, as well as a very respectable warm Valrhona chocolate fondant ($14) if you’re in need of a cocoa fix.
