Aqua Gastronomy returns for its final run this Chinese New Year with a brand new Spring Edition

Trust Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) to make an experiential affair out of a meal. Its popular dining pop-up, Aqua Gastronomy, returns from now till Feb 28 to present its final iteration in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Elevated and reimagined, the refreshed Spring Edition has pulled out all the stops to create a truly theatrical and multisensory extravaganza to conclude the dome dining experience.

Still spotlighting its Open Ocean Habitat at the S.E.A. Aquarium, the beautiful dining pods that reside just in front of the centrepiece attraction has now been redecorated with Chinese New Year ornaments, including oriental lanterns of various hues—further breathing vibrance into the already kaleidoscopic ambience.

Here, guests will enjoy five culinary ‘treasures’, each inspired by one of the five fortunes: Fortune (福), Prosperity (禄), Longevity (寿), Joy (喜), Wealth (财). All prepared by four RWS restaurant chefs—Marvas Huang of Ocean Restaurant, Tony Choo of Forest, Li Kwok Kwong of Feng Shui Inn and Kenny Kong of Resorts World Sentosa—using ingredients from sustainable sources.

Dishes include Reinterpreted Yu Sheng with GAP-certified Loch Fyne Smoked Salmon, Cashew Nuts and Tangy Orange Sauce; Steamed King Prawn with Dragon Chive, Vermicelli, Yellow Emperor Chilli and Mini Pumpkin Mantou; as well as Suan Cai Patagonian Toothfish, Bamboo Shoots and ASC-certified Trout Caviar served with Hong Kong Style Lap Mei Fan.

While you feast on the auspicious dinner menu, hear voice-over narrations which tell tales of the Dragon Emperor’s invitation to The Golden Ox to his underwater palace for a lavish banquet.

On top of all that, also expect surprises such as an appearance by trained divers performing an elaborate underwater dragon dance that will definitely evoke gasps and awe.

But to avoid further spoilers, we’ll leave it at that. Just note that it’s no exaggeration to say that the Spring Edition is a unique and memorable finale, and a reasonably-priced one given the number of dishes offered.

Bookings are going fast, so be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible.
