Offering a taste of authentic Nyonya cuisine, Ellenborough Market Café is equally beautiful in its ambiance, showcasing exquisite decor that gives us a glimpse into the vibrant splendour of our Peranakan roots.
Their a la carte buffet lunch is available every day from 12 – 2pm. Whet your appetite with starters like maguro and salmon sashimi, before diving into their extensive list of Peranakan dishes. From classics like ayam buah keluak and babi pongteh, to chap chye and chilli crab kueh pie tee, you’ll be spoilt for choice if you’re craving for an authentic taste of the past.
Featuring different monthly highlights so as to constantly present fresh experiences, their dinner menu is available every day from 6.30 – 10pm. An upgraded and extended version of their lunch menu, December’s dinner menu includes a BBQ Jamboree spread with such stars as grilled oyster with gratinated cheese sausages and sliced beef sirloin with natural jus.
Especially for durian lovers, do not miss out on Ellenborough Market Café’s signature knockout dessert: their Durian Pengat.
To enjoy their high tea buffet, be sure to make your reservations early as they’re only available on Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays, from 3.30 – 5.30pm. On top of their usual quality Nyonya offerings, the high tea menu features a wider range of Western and brunch selects, including duck rillettes with dried fruit éclair, and variations of Sous Vide egg and Raclette cheese.
The high tea menu also includes a special range of classic Dim Sum favourites, which are not available during their lunch and dinner services.
